Filing Effective Bug Reports

Clear, structured reports help our team reproduce and fix issues faster. Include these details:

Title & Reproduction

Short summary of the issue (e.g., "Scorecard not saving after Over 20"). Provide numbered steps from start to error occurrence.

Expected vs Actual

Describe what you expected to happen and what actually occurred instead.

Evidence & Context

Include screenshots or videos showing error messages. Include device model, OS version, browser/app version, and network type.

Identifiers

Provide timestamp and match ID (if applicable) to help our team locate relevant logs quickly.

We prioritise live cricket and payment-impacting issues for fastest resolution:

Supported Platforms

Cricstars supports latest two versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox on desktop. iOS and Android support current and previous major versions. Older versions may work but aren't guaranteed.

Privacy & Security

Reports may include diagnostics (device model, version, approximate location). We use this only for investigation per our Privacy Policy. Never share passwords or card numbers. For security vulnerabilities, email support@cricstars.app.

Known Issues & Workarounds

Android: Delayed push notifications after extended idle periods.

Workaround: Enable background activity permissions for Cricstars in system settings.

OTP Input: Browser autofill blocking OTP field input.

Workaround: Clear autofill data for the page or enter OTP manually. Updated after each release.
