Getting Started
4Yes! Cricstars is completely free for players, scorers, and fans. All essential features like match scoring, stats, and team creation are available at no cost.
Anyone who loves cricket — whether you're a player, scorer, coach, or fan. You don't need to play professionally; Cricstars is for every level of the game, from backyard to league.
Go to cricstars.app and click Sign Up. You can register using your email and basic details. Once done, you'll have your own player dashboard and profile.
Match Scoring
7From the left menu, select New Match. Enter team names and player lists, conduct the toss, choose batting or bowling, and start scoring ball by ball. Your scorecard updates automatically in real time.
Yes. Use the UNDO option to correct the last action immediately (for example, if you entered the wrong number of runs or wickets). Once the match is finalized and verified, editing is locked to preserve integrity.
When the final over is bowled, the scorer ends the match and submits the scorecard. Both captains or team managers then verify it. Once approved, the match becomes official and contributes to your statistics and leaderboard ranking.
A verified match is one that has been approved by both teams or a tournament admin. Only verified matches appear on leaderboards and count toward career stats.
Cricstars is built for real-time online scoring. You can still score temporarily if your network drops, but you'll need a stable internet connection for saving and syncing results.
You can score and track matches in all major formats:
- T10 (10 overs)
- T20 (20 overs)
- ODI (50 overs)
- Test or custom formats (as per organizer rules)
It reverses your last scoring action (for example, if you added an extra run or marked the wrong bowler). Use it before ending the over or submitting results — it's your safety net for live matches.
Statistics & Teams
5Every run, wicket, and ball bowled is recorded through the Cricstars scoring system. The platform automatically calculates averages, strike rates, economy rates, and milestones based on verified match data.
Leaderboards display top players and teams based on consistent verified performances — like total runs, wickets, and averages. They're updated automatically once new matches are verified.
Yes. To create a team, go to "My Teams" and fill in your team name, logo, and details. To join, search your team under "Find Teams" and send a join request. Captains can approve or remove members anytime.
Yes. You can be part of multiple teams (for example, a local club and a corporate team). Your player stats are automatically tracked across all verified matches, no matter which team you play for.
Tournaments let organizers manage multiple matches, fixtures, and points tables in one place. You can view live results, upcoming games, and standings — just like in professional cricket leagues.
Privacy & Security
3You do. Cricstars simply stores and displays your match data for analytics and recognition. Your stats, photos, and videos remain your property.
All data is stored securely on encrypted servers with limited access. Your connection is protected with SSL security. Cricstars never sells personal information to third parties.

Achievements display your milestones — like most runs, top wickets, or verified badges earned. They update automatically from your match stats.
Players can apply for verification by sharing match participation proof or ID. Once confirmed by Cricstars' moderators, a blue badge appears on your profile.
