Popular Questions
Getting Started
4Yes. The core Cricstars experience is free for players, scorers and fans. You can create a profile, score matches, follow teams and start building your cricket record without paying upfront. Premium tools may be added separately for advanced clubs, tournaments and verified services.
Anyone who loves cricket — whether you're a player, scorer, coach, or fan. You don't need to play professionally; Cricstars is for every level of the game, from backyard to league.
You can create an account from the Cricstars app login or registration page. Use your correct name and details so your player profile, match records, teams and future verification requests stay connected properly.
Match Scoring
7To score a match, login to your Cricstars account, choose or create the teams, set the match details and start the scoring screen. The platform is built to make ball-by-ball scoring easier while keeping player and team records connected.
If a scoring mistake happens, correct it as soon as possible from the scoring tools available for that match. For locked, completed or unusual match issues, login and raise a support ticket so the team can review the match context properly.
When the final over is bowled, the scorer ends the match and submits the scorecard. Both captains or team managers then verify it. Once approved, the match becomes official and contributes to your statistics and leaderboard ranking.
Verification helps build trust around real cricket identities, clubs and platform activity. As Cricstars grows, verified profiles and organisations will help players, teams and partners know who they are dealing with.
Cricstars is built for real-time online scoring. You can still score temporarily if your network drops, but you'll need a stable internet connection for saving and syncing results.
You can score and track matches in all major formats:
- T10 (10 overs)
- T20 (20 overs)
- ODI (50 overs)
- Test or custom formats (as per organizer rules)
It reverses your last scoring action (for example, if you added an extra run or marked the wrong bowler). Use it before ending the over or submitting results — it's your safety net for live matches.
Statistics & Teams
5Cricstars uses scored match data to build player and team statistics. Batting, bowling, fielding and match records become more useful as more matches are scored accurately on the platform.
Leaderboards display top players and teams based on consistent verified performances — like total runs, wickets, and averages. They're updated automatically once new matches are verified.
Teams on Cricstars help players, captains, scorers and organisers keep match activity in one place. You can use teams for scoring, player grouping, records and future club or tournament workflows.
Yes. You can be part of multiple teams (for example, a local club and a corporate team). Your player stats are automatically tracked across all verified matches, no matter which team you play for.
Cricstars is being developed to support structured cricket activity, including teams, matches and tournament-style workflows. As tournament tools expand, they will connect scoring, players, teams and results more cleanly.
Privacy & Security
3Cricstars takes account and cricket data seriously. Use accurate profile information, protect your login details and raise a support ticket if you notice anything unusual with your account, team or match data.
All data is stored securely on encrypted servers with limited access. Your connection is protected with SSL security. Cricstars never sells personal information to third parties.
Yes. Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account or email support@cricstars.app. Once deleted, personal data is permanently removed, while match data remains anonymously for record integrity.
Profile & Settings

Achievements display your milestones — like most runs, top wickets, or verified badges earned. They update automatically from your match stats.
Players can apply for verification by sharing match participation proof or ID. Once confirmed by Cricstars' moderators, a blue badge appears on your profile.
Yes, once every 30 days from Profile → Edit. Frequent name changes are disabled to prevent confusion.
Support & Troubleshooting
4Use the password reset option on the login page. If you still cannot access your account after trying the reset flow, login where possible or use the support gateway so the issue can be tracked properly.
